LAYNE DUNLAP
Ignite Barre and Fitness Studio was founded and created by Layne Dunlap and Mallory Stafford. Layne grew up in Plymouth, MA where she found her passion for movement as a young girl. In her early 20s, she started a career in real estate and moved to South Boston. After meeting her husband, she moved back to her hometown of Plymouth, where they are now raising their two children. She was introduced to Barre in 2012 after a friend raved about a Barre class she had been going to. She soon began taking classes and fell in love immediately. In 2014, she started her journey as a fitness instructor teaching Barre and Pound and has never looked back.

During the pandemic, there have been many changes, with only one life to live they decided to take a leap of faith and create their health and fitness brand. They wanted to create a space where they could use their love for health and wellness and share that with their local community. Ignite was created on the belief that each person has the fire within to reach their goals, whether they are fitness related or beyond. Our mission at Ignite is to inspire each person to find that fire within, let it radiate, and guide you to live your best life.
